Job summary

Medical City Heart & Spine Hospitals in Texas seeks an Electrophysiology/EP Lab Tech to support diagnostic and interventional procedures. You will assist in equipment operation, monitoring, imaging and use of medical devices during 6:30am–5:00pm shifts, with no on-call requirements.

The role requires RCIS/RCES/ARRT or 3 years EP experience, CVT tech, allied health degree, and current BLS; ACLS within 1 year is also required. Join a large health system investing in staff development.

Qualifications

• Certification as RCIS, RCES, or ARRt, or 3 years Cath Lab/EP experience.
• CVT Tech eligibility is considered.
• Allied Health Degree is required.
• Current BLS certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Use hemodynamic and ECG monitoring and interpret data.
• Scrub assist for diagnostic and EP procedures with supplies and instruments.
• Prepare and manipulate cardiac catheters, guide-wires and devices.
• Inject contrast media and medications under physician supervision.
• Document procedures and patient information per policy.
• Coordinate procedure scheduling as assigned.
• Assist with inventory control as directed by supervisor/manager.
• Support organization mission, vision, and values.
• Other duties as assigned.
