Job summary

Air Force Civilian Service is seeking a Full-Time Equal Opportunity Specialist (NH-0260-02) to support the 96th Test Wing EO Office at Eglin Air Force Base. The role provides EEO advisory services, processes complaints, and mediates issues for military members and civilian employees.

Responsibilities include counseling, data gathering, analysis, and training. Occasional travel up to 25% is required; DEOMI EOAP certification is preferred; telework may be situationally allowed.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years experience in case management
• 3–5 years experience in negotiated dispute resolution
• 3–5 years experience establishing working relationships with managers, supervisors, employees, and external representatives

Responsibilities

• Process inquiries into informal and formal complaints.
• Provide EO Counselor services and handle discrimination/harassment complaints.
• Advise Commanders, managers, supervisors, and employees with EO guidance.
• Conduct special reviews of alleged discrimination as directed.
• Determine training needs and organize classes for counselors and supervisors.
• Deliver oral briefings and trainings to managers and staff.
• Utilize ADR techniques for complex workplace disputes.
• Strive to resolve problems at the lowest level with integrity.
