Job summary

Republic Services is seeking an Area Director Sales-Environmental Services to lead a regional sales team, drive growth, and optimize revenue quality. You will partner with Area, Division and Corporate leadership to implement strategic objectives and motivate a multi-location sales staff across Environmental Services.

You will oversee CRM-driven performance, manage large contracts and coordinate with operations to ensure alignment with budgeted goals. Willingness to travel up to 60% is required.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in a sales management role with experience supervising sales personnel and developing sales strategies.
• Experience using business and sales software (e.g. Outlook, Excel, Salesforce or other CRM tools).

Responsibilities

• Determine strategic objectives for customer retention, prospecting, experience and revenue management.
• Achieve new sales and retention goals in Environmental Services.
• Manage sales performance and customer interaction through a CRM tool.
• Develop Environmental Services plans meeting short- and long-term goals and secure resources.
• Analyze sales force structure against defined opportunities and adjust as needed.
• Ensure alignment of department goals with company-wide goals and drive performance.
• Review and analyze operating data to support pro forma models.
• Lead value selling and standardized sales processes across the team.
• Oversee RFP and proposal development; participate in contract negotiations.
• Travel up to 60% as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned
