Job summary

BIC Recruiting is seeking a Sales Director for Environmental Services in the La Porte/Gulf Coast area. This leadership role directs the sales function and teams to implement strategies that maximize volume and profitable growth.

The Sales Director will develop business and pricing strategies, manage forecasts, coach staff, and coordinate with leadership to meet company objectives in a competitive market.

Qualifications

• 5 years experience supervising or managing sales personnel and activities.
• 5 years relevant waste or industry experience.
• Experience in developing comprehensive sales strategies.
• Grasps concepts quickly and follows through on challenges with a positive outlook.
• Ability to identify information needed to clarify a situation and solve problems logically.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement sales and marketing plans aligned with the business unit plan.
• Create sales forecasts and manage achievement of goals and budgets.
• Direct a sales team and provide training and coaching, including ride-alongs.
• Assist with new customer solicitation, bids, and retention strategies.
• Review CRM data, pipeline activity, and performance against goals with the team.
• Proactively contact accounts to identify needs and resolve issues.
• Help develop pricing strategies to meet company objectives.
• Maintain awareness of market trends and customer needs in the region.
• Know the company services, pricing, and selling opportunities; complete reports timely.
• Review Customer Service Agreements for terms, pricing, and accuracy.
