Waggoner Engineering, Inc. seeks an Environmental Services Market Sector Leader to grow the firm in the environmental services market across all business units, expanding the client base and backlog in the water market.

The role emphasizes thought leadership, major client pursuits, and delivering high-quality project execution through influence with BU Leaders and project teams. The leader drives strategy, oversees delivery excellence, and aligns market priorities with organizational goals,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Environmental, or Chemical Engineering; Geology, Environmental Science or related field (Master’s preferred).
• Registered Professional Engineer (PE) or Professional Geologist (PG) credential preferred; equivalent environmental consulting leadership experience may be considered.
• Typically, 15+ years of progressive water experience, including 7+ years of client leadership and pursuit leadership.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a multi-year market strategy and annual plan with targets, priority clients, services, staffing, and investments.
• Lead major pursuits, capture plans, teaming strategies, and client messaging; partner with marketing and business development on campaigns and collateral.
• Build trusted advisor relationships with priority clients; lead account planning with BU Leaders and Area Managers; oversee pursuit strategy and pricing inputs.

Education
