Job summary

Waggoner Engineering, Inc. seeks an Environmental Services Market Sector Leader to drive growth and delivery excellence across environmental services. The role aligns business unit leaders, area managers, and project teams to pursue opportunities and expand the client base while maintaining high-quality outcomes.

You will lead strategic market initiatives, develop talent, and advance client relationships to grow revenue and backlog in the water and related sectors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Environmental, or Chemical Engineering (Master’s preferred).
• Geology, Environmental Science or related field is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute market strategy and annual plans for the environmental services sector.
• Lead major pursuits, including capture plans, teaming strategies, and client messaging.
• Ensure delivery aligns with strategy, standards, and risk posture.
• Coach and develop staff across units; align leaders and project teams.
• Own sector performance metrics and maintain pipeline forecasts.
• Collaborate across market sectors to deliver integrated client solutions.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Environmental, or Chemical Engineering

Master’s degree preferred in Geology, Environmental Science, or related field
