Job summary

Waggoner Engineering, Inc. is seeking a Water Market Sector Leader to drive growth and delivery excellence across the water market sector, partnering with local governments, agencies, and utilities.

The role requires a senior leader who can influence without direct reports, align business units, and advance One Water initiatives, asset management, and project delivery standards while growing backlog and revenue.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental, or Chemical Engineering required; PE licensed.
• Typically 15+ years in water experience with 7+ years in client leadership and pursuit leadership.
• Master's degree preferred; deep knowledge of funding programs and public procurement for water utilities is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a multi-year market strategy and annual plan for water market leadership.
• Lead major client pursuits, capture plans, and teaming strategies; collaborate with marketing and BD on campaigns.
• Align cross-functional leaders and teams around sector priorities to ensure delivery quality and growth.
