Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Practice Leader to shape growth strategies, expand client relationships, and guide strategic pursuits in Environmental Services. The role combines client focus, market knowledge, technical credibility, financial acumen, and team leadership to deliver exceptional environmental consulting services.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated leadership in environmental consulting, business development, account management, and project delivery.
• Strong ability to develop client relationships and lead strategic pursuits to grow revenue.
• Proven ability to collaborate across technical disciplines, offices, and regions.
• Strong business and financial acumen, including forecasting, budgets, contracts, and risk-based decisions.
• Excellent communication, leadership, negotiation, organization, and team-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Identify, lead, and support strategic pursuits, proposals, interviews, and growth initiatives across Environmental Services and related markets.
• Build and strengthen client relationships by serving as a trusted advisor and client manager for key clients.
• Develop and implement client relationship strategies that support long-term growth, client satisfaction, and repeat business.
• Collaborate with project managers, technical leaders, account managers, and regional leadership to align opportunities with client needs and Stantec’s capabilities.
• Promote a positive, growth-oriented culture focused on quality, accountability, collaboration, and client service.
