Job summary

Triumvirate Environmental, a leading environmental services firm, seeks a Business Development Manager for our Somerville, MA team. You will drive new business, nurture long-term client relationships, and apply industry insights to deliver tailored solutions while ensuring compliance and top-tier service.

You will manage the full sales cycle, travel regionally as needed, and collaborate with colleagues to maximize referrals and growth across service lines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or environmental studies.
• 3+ years of sales experience in environmental services.
• Experience selling to Life Sciences, Higher Education, or healthcare.
• Knowledge of consultative sales techniques and CRM usage.
• Willingness to travel regionally.

Responsibilities

• Originate and close new business opportunities to drive revenue.
• Stay informed on market trends to network effectively.
• Collaborate with sales peers to generate referrals.
• Cold-call and prospect companies that fit Triumvirate’s profile.
• Master and sell all service lines offered by Triumvirate.
• Leverage the CRM to track leads and opportunities.
• Attend industry shows to build brand and generate leads.
• Apply knowledge of regulations to build credibility with customers.
