Job Summary

Monday - Friday 6-11PM Summary Responsible for maintaining a safe, clean, and sanitary environment within a hospital or healthcare facility. Does this position require Patient Care? No

Essential Functions

• Sweep, mop, wax, strip, and polish floors; vacuum and shampoo carpets.
• Dust and polish furniture, woodwork, fixtures, and equipment.
• Wash walls, ceilings, woodwork, door panels, windows, sills, blinds, and door glass.
• Empty, clean, and sanitize waste receptacles in assigned areas.
• Clean and sanitize restroom facilities and fixtures, including sinks, urinals, toilets, mirrors, walls, and drinking fountains; replenish restroom supplies as needed.
• Pick up debris around the building and surrounding areas.
• Operate and control high- and low-speed stripping and buffing machines.
• Set up tables, chairs, and equipment for special events and routine hospital activities.
• Identify and report building maintenance needs in assigned buildings and facilities.

Qualifications

Education High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred Can this role accept experience in lieu of a degree? No Licenses and Credentials Experience Experience working with the cleaning equipment and chemicals used in hospitals and healthcare centers 2-3 years required
