Mass General Brigham is seeking an Environmental Services professional for the night shift (Sat, Sun, and holidays) from 10:45 PM to 7:15 AM at 66 Blossom Street. You will maintain a safe, clean, and sanitary hospital environment for patients, visitors, and staff.
Responsibilities include floor care, dusting, restroom sanitation, event setup, and reporting safety concerns with a focus on infection prevention and teamwork.
Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays from 10:45 PM to 7:15 AM.
Responsible for maintaining a safe, clean, and sanitary healthcare environment for patients, visitors, and staff throughout the hospital or healthcare facility.
Does this position require patient care? No
Sweep, mop, wax, strip, and polish floors; vacuum and shampoo carpets. Dust and polish furniture, woodwork, fixtures, and equipment. Clean walls, ceilings, woodwork, door panels, windows, sills, blinds, and glass surfaces. Empty, clean, and sanitize waste receptacles in assigned areas. Clean and sanitize restroom facilities and fixtures, including sinks, urinals, toilets, mirrors, walls, and drinking fountains; replenish restroom supplies as needed. Collect and remove debris from building grounds and surrounding areas. Operate and maintain high- and low-speed floor care equipment, including stripping and buffing machines. Set up tables, chairs, and equipment for meetings, special events, and routine hospital activities. Identify and report building maintenance issues and safety concerns within assigned facilities. Follow infection prevention, safety, and departmental procedures to maintain a clean and safe environment.
