Job summary

Brice Engineering LLC is seeking an Environmental Scientist II to join our team in Alaska. The role involves collecting, synthesizing, and documenting data from investigated areas and providing field support as needed, including site supervision.

You will work from Anchorage or other regional offices on deadline-driven projects. You will apply CERCLA/RCRA guidelines, analyze data, and help prepare project documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in physical or environmental science required.
• Five to ten years of experience on environmental projects preferred.
• Broad understanding of federal, state, and local environmental regulations.
• Valid state driver’s license and ability to operate a vehicle.
• Ability to pass drug and background screening.

Responsibilities

• Conduct and oversee site inspections, assessments, investigations, and cleanups per regulatory guidelines.
• Collaborate with environmental technicians for data collection and evaluation.
• Prepare technical evaluations using CERCLA/RCRA guidelines.
• Provide guidance and oversight for project documentation.
• Develop and update environmental permits, plans, licenses and reports.
