Job summary

Brice Engineering LLC is hiring an Environmental Scientist II to support field surveys, data synthesis, and documentation for environmental projects. You will work from Anchorage, Fairbanks, or other locations, performing site inspections and data collection with a focus on safety and quality.

Applicants should have a bachelor’s in physical or environmental science and 5–10 years of relevant experience, with strong knowledge of federal and state environmental regulations and the ability to

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in physical or environmental science.
• Five to ten years of experience working on environmental projects.
• Broad understanding of federal, state, and local environmental regulations.
• Valid state driver’s license and ability to operate a vehicle.
• Ability to pass drug and background screening.

Responsibilities

• Conduct and oversee site inspections, assessments, investigations, and cleanups per guidelines.
• Collaborate with environmental technicians in data collection and evaluation.
• Prepare technical evaluations of sites using CERCLA/RCRA guidelines.
• Provide guidance and oversight for written project documentation.
• Ensure permits, plans and reports meet requirements for compliance.
• Support site data presentation and charting for stakeholder reviews.
• Assist in project planning and responses to RFPs.
• Mentor junior staff and contribute to a safe work culture.
