Job summary

Brice Engineering LLC is seeking an Environmental Scientist II to join our Anchorage, AK team. You will collect and synthesize data from investigated areas, support documentation, and provide field supervision as needed to ensure project success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in physical or environmental science.
• Five to ten years of experience on environmental projects.
• Broad understanding of federal, state, and local environmental regulations.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to pass drug and background screening.

Responsibilities

• Conduct and oversee site inspections, assessments, investigations, and cleanups in accordance with guidelines.
• Work with environmental technicians in data collection, site inspection, and evaluation of data.
• Prepare technical evaluations of investigated sites using CERCLA/RCRA guidelines.
• Provide scientific and technical guidance and oversight to project staff for written documentation.
• Review and document processes to obtain/update environmental permits, plans, reports, licenses, and other requirements.
• Review and provide documentation on environmental standards and regulations for proposals.
