Job summary

Brice Engineering LLC is seeking an Environmental Scientist II to join our team in multiple offices. The role involves collecting, synthesizing, and documenting data from investigated areas and supporting project documentation, with field supervision as needed to ensure quality and timely deliverables.

Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree in environmental science and 5–10 years of environmental project experience, plus strong knowledge of CERCLA/RCRA and other environmental regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in physical or environmental science and 5–10 years of environmental project experience.
• Knowledge of CERCLA/RCRA and related environmental regulations.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct and oversee site inspections, assessments, investigations, and cleanups per regulatory guidelines.
• Collaborate with environmental technicians on data collection and site evaluation.
• Prepare technical evaluations of investigated sites per CERCLA/RCRA guidelines.
• Provide guidance and oversight for project documentation and permits.
• Support project planning, RFP responses, and client communication.
• Mentor junior Environmental Scientist staff and contribute to safety culture.
