Job summary

Brice Engineering LLC is seeking an Environmental Scientist III to support field and office work from Anchorage or Fairbanks, AK, with project oversight for environmental investigations. You will collect, analyze and document data, supervise field activities, and contribute to project documentation and client communications.

The role advances knowledge of environmental site investigations, permits, and regulatory compliance while mentoring junior staff and driving project success across multiple

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in physical or environmental science and 7–15 years in environmental projects or analytical labs.
• Strong knowledge of environmental regulations (RCRA, NPDES, CWA, etc.).
• Ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams and mentor staff.

Responsibilities

• Conduct and oversee site inspections, investigations, and cleanups per regulations.
• Coordinate data collection, site evaluation, and documentation support for projects.
• Prepare technical evaluations using RCRA guidelines.
• Provide guidance and oversight for project documentation and permits.
• Lead project planning, RFP responses, and client liaison activities.
• Mentor project staff and ensure safety culture and quality control.
