Job summary

CDM Smith seeks an Environmental Scientist/Environmental Risk Assessor to support Human Health and Ecological projects within the Environmental Services Group. You will assist with regulatory compliance for federal, state, and local environmental initiatives.

You will develop data quality objectives, QA/QC plans, SAPs, and exposure models, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, and contribute to client meetings, proposals, and firmwide knowledge.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a science field with professional licensure or certification.
• 7 years of related environmental consulting experience.
• Willingness to travel up to 10%.
• Knowledge of U.S. environmental regulations.

Responsibilities

• Support site investigations and risk assessments for human health and ecological projects.
• Develop DQOs, QAPPs, and SAPs under guidance.
• Prepare CSEMs, HHRAs, SLERAs, BERAs.
• Collaborate with scientists, engineers, and toxicologists.
• Provide technical guidance and collaborate on client meetings.
• Contribute to proposals and white papers.
• Represent firm at conferences and enhance visibility.
• Perform other duties as required.
