Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking an Environmental Scientist/Environmental Risk Assessor to support Human Health and Ecological risk projects within the Environmental Services Group. You will assist regulatory compliance efforts for federal, state, and local initiatives across CDM Smith’s portfolio.

Responsibilities include supporting investigations, developing DQOs/QAPPs, modeling exposure, and mentoring junior staff. Expect travel, collaboration with cross-disciplinary teams, and engagement with clients to

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Science with professional registration/certification.
• 7 years of related experience.
• Travel may be required, frequency contingent on duties.
• Equivalent additional directly related experience considered in lieu of a degree.

Responsibilities

• Support site investigations and basic to high complexity analysis for HHRAs/ERAs.
• Assist with QA/QC plans (DQOs, QAPPs, SAPs).
• Contribute to CSEMs and risk assessments (HHRAs, SLERAs, BERAs).
• Collaborate with scientists, engineers, toxicologists on project approaches.
