Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking an Environmental Scientist/Environmental Risk Assessor to support Human Health and Ecological projects within the Environmental Services Group. This role focuses on regulatory compliance efforts for federal, state, and local environmental programs across CDM Smith projects.

You'll work with a team of scientists, geologists, engineers, and toxicologists to develop risk assessments, QA/QC plans, and data interpretations, while mentoring junior staff and contributing to client

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Science or related field; professional registration/certification preferred.
7+ years of related experience in environmental consulting or regulation.
Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as duties require.

Responsibilities

Support site investigations and interpretation of data for HHRA and ERA.
Develop data quality objectives (DQOs), QA Plans (QAPPs) and SAPs.
Prepare CSEMs, HHRAs, SLERAs, and BERAs for various projects.
Collaborate with scientists, geologists, engineers, and toxicologists to define project approaches.
Provide technical guidance and training to junior staff and mentor growth.
