Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking an Environmental Scientist/Environmental Risk Assessor to support Human Health and Ecological projects within the Environmental Services Group. The role focuses on regulatory compliance for federal, state, and local environmental projects in CDM Smith’s portfolio.

You will collaborate with scientists, geologists, engineers, and toxicologists to apply approved approaches to investigations, remediation, and related tasks, while mentoring junior staff and supporting client

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Science or related discipline with professional scientist registration/certification OR Master's degree in Science or related discipline.
7 years of related experience.
Domestic and/or international travel may be required.
Equivalent additional directly related experience considered in lieu of a degree.

Responsibilities

Supports site investigations and analysis for human health risk assessments (HHRAs) and ecological risk assessments (ERAs).
Contributes to data quality objectives (DQOs), QAPPs, and SAPs.
Prepares conceptual site exposure models (CSEMs) and HHRAs, SLERAs, BERAs.
