Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking an Environmental Scientist/Environmental Risk Assessor to support Human Health and Ecological projects within the Environmental Services Group. This role focuses on regulatory compliance and applying risk assessment methods to Federal, state, and local environmental programs.

You will collaborate with scientists and engineers, contribute to data quality objectives, prepare plans, and share knowledge through mentoring, proposals, and technical papers while representing CDM

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Science or related discipline (or equivalent).
• 7 years of related experience in environmental consulting or regulation.
• Travel may be required; frequency contingent on project duties.
• Equivalent additional directly related experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.

Responsibilities

• Support site investigations and interpretation of data for human health and ecological risk assessments.
• Assist with development of DQOs, QAPPs, and SAPs.
• Prepare CSEMs and HHRAs, SLERAs, BERAs for various project complexities.
• Collaborate with scientists, geologists, engineers, and toxicologists on project approaches.
