Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking an Environmental Scientist/Environmental Risk Assessor to support Human Health and Ecological projects in the Environmental Services Group. You will assist with regulatory compliance for federal, state, and local environmental projects across CDM Smith’s portfolio.

You will work with teams to develop data quality objectives, exposure models, and risk assessments, collaborating with scientists, engineers and toxicologists to implement approved approaches and provide

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Science or related field required; Master’s preferred.
7 years of related experience in environmental consulting or regulation.
Willingness to travel domestically and internationally per project needs.

Responsibilities

Support site investigations and interpretation of data for human health and ecological risk assessments.
Contribute to development of QAPPs, SAPs, and data quality objectives.
Prepare and review exposure models, HHRAs, SLERAs, BERAs.
Collaborate with scientists, engineers and toxicologists on project approaches.
Provide technical guidance and training to junior staff and support client meetings.
