Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking an Environmental Scientist/Environmental Risk Assessor to support Human Health and Ecological projects within the Environmental Services Group. Responsibilities include data interpretation for risk assessments, development of QA plans, and collaboration with scientists and engineers to implement project approaches.

You will contribute to regulatory compliance work and assist with client meetings, proposals, and knowledge-sharing through white papers and presentations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Science or related field and professional scientist registration/certification.
• 7 years of related experience.
• Willingness to travel domestically or internationally as required.

Responsibilities

• Support site investigations and interpretation of data for HHRAs and ERAs.
• Assist development of DQOs, QAPPs, and SAPs for projects.
• Contribute to CSEMs, SLERAs, BERAs for varying complexity.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to implement project approaches.
• Provide technical guidance to junior staff and mentor them.
• Contribute to proposals and attend client meetings.
• Develop white papers on emerging environmental issues.
• Present at conferences to enhance visibility of services.
