Job summary

Veolia North America is hiring an Operator I to operate and maintain sludge, de-watering, processing, disposal and testing equipment in a refinery/industrial facility under supervision.

You will learn to independently operate pumps, centrifuges, valves, mixers and related equipment, collect samples, log readings, and participate in preventive maintenance while supporting a safety‑conscious, collaborative team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Willingness to learn and operate refinery/industrial equipment.
• Demonstrated ability to follow safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Learn and independently operate assigned machines to meet targets.
• Operate pumps, centrifuges, valves, mixers, conveyors and related equipment.
• Work in a team and take on new responsibilities.
• Maintain clean work area, collect samples, log readings, perform rounds, assist in maintenance.
