Maul Foster & Alongi, Inc. (MFA) seeks a full-time Environmental Planner. Hybrid role based in MFA offices, focusing on WA, OR, and ID.

You'll lead permitting strategies, coordinate with agencies, and guide projects from analysis to final approvals across infrastructure, redevelopment, and waterfront initiatives. The role emphasizes client interaction, cross-disciplinary collaboration, and mentoring junior staff, with opportunities to advance business development and professional growth within

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in urban planning, natural resources, environmental science, or related field.
• 5+ years of professional experience in environmental planning, permitting, or land use planning.
• Experience preparing and managing permit applications for Pacific Northwest projects.
• Knowledge of Clean Water Act permitting, SEPA, shoreline regulations, and local land use processes.
• Experience coordinating with regulatory agencies, municipalities, tribes, and stakeholders.

Responsibilities
