Job summary

Landau Associates, a recognized environmental and civil engineering firm, seeks a Civil/Environmental Engineering Project Manager to support Permitting and Design, including industrial stormwater and wastewater permit compliance, with a flexible hybrid schedule in Seattle or Portland.

You will lead design and construction tasks, prepare permitting reports, design site infrastructure, coordinate with clients and regulators, manage project delivery, and mentor junior staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil, environmental, or chemical engineering.
• 5–10+ years of consulting experience in the listed duties.
• 3–5 years' experience using Autodesk Civil 3D or similar software.
• PE license or ability to obtain registration in WA and/or OR within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Leading design and construction engineering tasks.
• Preparing written engineering reports to support facility construction and permitting.
• Implementing permit requirements, including permit applications and certifying construction.
• Designing site infrastructure including utilities, drainage, stormwater and wastewater treatment.
• Preparing civil engineering plans and specifications for permitting.
• Guiding construction observation and handling RFIs and change orders.
• Managing proposals, contracts, budgets, invoicing and change management.
• Coordinating with clients, regulatory agencies and project teams.
• Building client relationships and identifying opportunities.
• Training and mentoring junior staff.
