Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in the biological, physical, or environmental sciences, engineering, or a closely related field.
• Five years of professional environmental protection experience or an equivalent combination of experience and training.
• Valid driver’s license and valid Professional Engineer license (PA).
• PA residency requirement.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee the Permitting Section by managing engineering staff and reviewing technical work.
• Ensure proper interpretation of environmental regulations and consistent, accurate permitting decisions.
• Review permit applications to protect waterways and wetlands and support safe development.
