Job summary

Kleinfelder is seeking an Environmental Permit & Planning Professional to join the Environmental Permitting and Planning (EP&P) Team in the Allentown, PA; Pittsburgh, PA; or Mechanicsburg, PA area. The role focuses on wetland and natural resources surveys, CWA permitting, and client engagement.

Hybrid work options are available with some travel. Ideal candidates have strong writing and QA/QC skills, plus experience coordinating with federal and state agencies, and mentoring staff within a

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to perform wetland and natural resources surveys.
• Experience with CWA 401/404 permitting; state programs in PA, OH, WV a plus.
• Ability to prepare permitting documents and reports.
• Experience coordinating with federal, state, and local agencies.
• Mentoring junior staff and leading project teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead wetland and regulatory permitting efforts for projects.
• Prepare and submit 401/404 permit applications and related reports.
• Engage with clients and regulatory agencies to advance projects.
• Mentor junior staff and contribute to team development.
