Job summary

Kleinfelder is seeking an Environmental Permit & Planning Professional to join the EP&P Team in the Allentown, PA; Pittsburgh, PA; or Mechanicsburg, PA area. You will perform wetland surveys, lead permitting efforts under CWA 401/404, and work with clients and regulators across the region.

The role requires strong technical writing, collaboration, and leadership skills, with hybrid/remote work options and travel for field activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Environmental, Biological, or Ecological Science, Environmental Policy, or related field.
• 6–10 years in environmental consulting or regulatory agencies in the region.
• Experience coordinating with federal, state, and local regulatory bodies.

Responsibilities

• Lead wetland and waterway surveys and prepare permitting documents.
• Guide projects through 401/404 permitting and related regulatory processes.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams and engage clients and regulators.
