Job summary

Pace Analytical Services in Massachusetts is seeking a Scientist to join our environmental testing laboratory. You will perform hands-on analysis and help ensure the integrity of environmental data that protects communities and ecosystems.

In this role you will operate GC-MS and other instruments, review results, and document procedures with high-quality lab records. A Bachelor's in Chemistry/ Biochemistry or related field is required, with 8 chemistry credit hours with labs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or STEM required.
• Must have 8 chemistry credit hours with labs.
• Ability to work in a lab environment with PPE and standing for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Conduct hands-on analysis in the environmental testing lab.
• Operate instruments such as GC-MS to analyze samples for contaminants.
• Review and interpret results from sample analyses.
• Document procedures, observations, and results clearly in lab records.
