Job summary

Pace Analytical Services is seeking a Scientist to join our environmental testing laboratory. You will conduct hands-on analysis using instruments such as GC, HPLC, and ICP to ensure the integrity and quality of environmental data that impacts communities and ecosystems.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or Biochemistry, or related STEM field, and the ability to work in a lab environment with PPE provided. Pace provides training and a supportive team to advance your career.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or related STEM field.
• Ability to work in a laboratory environment, including standing for extended periods and wearing PPE provided by Pace®.
• Training provided by Pace®.

Responsibilities

• Operate GC, HPLC, ICP and other instruments to analyze environmental samples.
• Analyze air, water, and soil samples using established chemistry/biochemistry methods.
• Review and interpret results from sample analysis.
• Document procedures, observations, and results maintaining high-quality lab records.
• Clean, maintain, and calibrate laboratory instruments and equipment.
