Job summary

Pace Analytical Services in Sudbury, MA, is seeking a Scientist to join our environmental testing laboratory. You will conduct hands-on analysis and help ensure the integrity of environmental data impacting communities.

The role focuses on GC-MS analysis, record-keeping, instrument calibration, and maintaining safety practices in a fast-paced lab. A STEM degree and lab experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or STEM and lab experience.
• Must have 8 chemistry credit hours with labs.
• Ability to perform in a laboratory environment with PPE and safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Conduct hands-on analysis in the environmental testing lab using established methods.
• Review and interpret results to ensure data integrity for environmental data.
• Document procedures, observations, and results accurately and maintain records.
• Calibrate, clean, and maintain laboratory instruments and equipment.
