Job summary

Pace Analytical Services is seeking a Scientist for our environmental testing laboratory. You will perform hands-on analysis and help ensure the integrity and quality of environmental data that protect communities and ecosystems.

Work with instruments such as GC-MS, document procedures, review results, and maintain clean, calibrated lab records. A Bachelor’s in Chemistry or Biochemistry or related STEM field is required, with at least 8 chemistry credits with labs; Pace provides training.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry or related STEM field; training provided if needed.
• Must have 8 chemistry credit hours with labs.
• Ability to work in a laboratory environment and wear PPE.

Responsibilities

• Conduct hands-on environmental sample analysis using established methods.
• Review results and accurately document procedures and observations.
• Clean, calibrate and maintain laboratory instruments and equipment.
