Job summary

Pace Analytical Services is hiring for a Scientist to join our environmental testing laboratory. You will conduct hands-on analysis using GC-MS and other established chemistry methods to identify environmental contaminants and ensure data integrity in our records.

Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or Biochemistry (or a STEM field) and at least 8 chemistry lab credit hours. You must be able to work in a laboratory environment, standing for long periods and wearing PPE.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or other STEM field.
• 8 chemistry credit hours with labs.
• Ability to work effectively in a laboratory environment with PPE and standing for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Conduct hands-on analysis using GC-MS and established chemistry methods to identify environmental contaminants.
• Review and interpret results from sample analyses.
• Accurately document procedures, observations, and results to maintain laboratory records.
