Job summary

ICF is seeking an Environmental Laboratory Project Manager to support an EPA ESAT contract in Corvallis, Oregon. The role oversees a 15-person lab team handling sample analysis, QA, and data validation per EPA methods, with direct federal client interaction and emphasis on safety and QA compliance.

Ideal candidates have 10+ years in EPA analytical programs, 5+ years of leadership, and strong LIMS/data analytics skills, along with U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain an EPA background check.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in chemistry or physical science; federal contract PM experience is acceptable in lieu of education.
• Minimum 10 years in EPA analytical programs and EPA methods.
• 5+ years leading an environmental analysis group with 10+ direct reports.
• Proficient in data acquisition, instrument reporting, and LIMS.

Responsibilities

• Lead a 15-member team delivering laboratory support and data validation.
• Provide technical oversight and direction for work performed.
• Schedule, track, and report assignments and products.
• Develop budgets and monitor financial performance for the team.
• Supervise staff, select personnel, and evaluate performance.
• Manage daily interactions with subcontractors and clients.
• Present technical information to clients and maintain compliance with QA, safety.
