Job summary

ICF is seeking an Environmental Laboratory Project Manager to support the EPA ESAT contract in Corvallis, Oregon. The role oversees a team performing soil, water, air, waste, and tissue analyses for contaminants with emphasis on Superfund site assessment and remediation.

You will coordinate lab operations, ensure QA/QC, manage budgets and schedules, and present technical results to clients while maintaining compliance with EPA methods and ISO/NELAC/TNI standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in chemistry or other physical science (or 20 years' federal contract PM experience).
• Minimum 10 years of experience with EPA analytical programs and methods.
• 5+ years of experience leading an environmental analysis group (10+ direct reports).
• Proficiency with data acquisition, instrument reporting, and LIMS.

Responsibilities

• Manage a team of 15 chemists and technicians providing laboratory support and data validation.
• Provide input and technical oversight of the work performed.
• Schedule, track, and report assignments and work products.
• Collaborate to develop budgets and ensure financial performance.
• Supervise technical staff including personnel selection and evaluation.
• Manage daily interactions with subcontractor personnel.
• Client contact and technical presentation.
• Ensure compliance with all technical, QA, and safety requirements.
