Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Geospatial Analyst to join our Environmental Services Geospatial team in Sacramento. You will work with GIS Specialists and Data Services professionals delivering ESRI-based solutions for internal and external clients.

The role involves mapping, spatial analysis, web maps and dashboards, field data collection support, QA/QC, and mentorship within a 160+ strong geospatial group. A 2–3 year GIS track record plus a related degree is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in GIS, Geography, Geology, Environmental Science, or related field.
• 2–3 years of professional GIS experience providing services.
• Experience with ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online, and related ESRI tools.

Responsibilities

• Compile, create and maintain spatial and non-spatial information across ESRI platforms.
• Produce web maps, dashboards, and data for field teams using Survey123 and ArcGIS Online.
• Support data collection efforts, QA/QC, and data management standards.
• Collaborate with GIS staff across Stantec offices and report to the US West Geospatial Team Lead.
