Job summary

GHD is seeking an Environmental Field Technician based in Taos, NM, to manage and support remediation and O&M projects throughout the region. This role involves field sampling, data collection, system inspections, and coordination with contractors.

The ideal candidate will have at least five years of environmental field experience and be proficient in electrical and mechanical maintenance. The position may require overtime and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of environmental field experience.
• Willingness to perform field work and overtime as required.
• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
• OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operation and Maintenance of soil and groundwater remediation systems.
• Data collection and site inspections to gather system performance measurements.
• Perform field sampling of soil, groundwater, and other mediums.
• Coordinate with contractors and oversee contractor activities.
• Support and oversee other field activities as needed.
