Job summary

Ambipar Response is seeking a dependable Technician to operate and maintain equipment for hazardous and non-hazardous waste management, site remediation, and emergency response. You must follow safety protocols, have strong stamina, and be willing to work overtime or respond to emergencies as needed.

Prior experience is preferred, but training is available for committed candidates. This full-time onsite role offers compensation commensurate with experience and requires travel up to 50%.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record.
• Ability to obtain certifications for confined space entry and hazardous materials.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain equipment and vehicles, including vacuum trucks and hydro excavation rigs.
• Perform hazardous and non-hazardous waste handling and site remediation tasks.
• Assist in emergency response services, on-call rotations, and hazardous waste cleanup.
• Complete time sheets and project documentation accurately using company systems.
• Follow strict safety protocols and wear appropriate PPE.
