Job summary

Ambipar is seeking a dependable Technician to operate and maintain equipment, manage hazardous waste, and participate in emergency responses. This full-time on-site role requires physical stamina and strict safety adherence.

You will load materials, perform site assessments, and support drivers while maintaining logs and documentation. Training is provided, with travel up to 50% and overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver's license with clean record.
• Ability to obtain certifications for confined space entry and hazardous material handling.
• Physical stamina for labor-intensive work in all weather conditions.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to interpret and follow written and verbal instructions.
• Flexibility for irregular hours, overtime, nights, weekends and holidays.
• Commitment to safety, compliance and teamwork.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with customers, regulators, and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain equipment and vehicles, including vacuum trucks and related rigs.
• Load/unload drums, totes, and containers at various sites.
• Handle, label, transport and document hazardous materials per regulations.
• Perform site assessments and monitor hazardous material levels using field instruments.
• Maintain clean and organized job sites, offices, yards and facilities.
• Accurately complete timesheets, logs and project documentation.
• Participate in emergency response, on-call rotation, and site remediation efforts.
• Perform routine maintenance checks and report defects on equipment.
• Assist Driver Operators and team members as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
