Job summary

Ambipar is seeking a Field Technician to support field operations, including equipment operation, hazardous and non-hazardous waste management, and site remediation. The role requires safety adherence, physical endurance, and overtime flexibility for emergency responses.

The candidate will perform site assessments, operate field equipment, and ensure regulatory compliance while maintaining documentation and safety protocols across multiple sites.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver’s license with no restrictions.
• Ability to obtain and maintain certifications for confined space entry and hazardous material handling.
• Strong commitment to safety and compliance.
• Excellent physical stamina and ability to perform heavy lifting and manual labor.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate equipment and vehicles following safety policies.
• Be available for on-call emergency response services and site remediation tasks.
• Handle hazardous and non-hazardous waste management duties.
• Perform confined space entry and tank cleaning as required.
• Complete time sheets, vehicle logs, and documentation promptly.
• Maintain clean, organized offices, yards, warehouses, and trucks for safety and efficiency.
• Handle, package, and transport hazardous materials per guidelines.
• Conduct site assessments to identify environmental hazards.
• Use field instruments to monitor hazardous materials and ensure safety compliance.
