Job summary

Ambipar Response Colorado is seeking a dependable Technician to operate and maintain equipment, collect samples, and participate in emergency response. The role requires strict safety adherence, physical stamina, and willingness to work overtime or respond to emergencies as needed.

Prior experience is preferred, but training is provided. Reports to a Supervisor; onsite, full-time, non-exempt, travel up to 50%.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required. Ability to obtain and maintain necessary safety certifications.
• Strong organizational and time management skills is required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication when interacting with customers, regulators, and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Perform industrial cleaning, site remediation, spill clean-ups, maintenance, and confined space entry in safety-compliant manner.
• Safely operate and maintain equipment including vacuum trucks and hydro excavation rigs.
• Load/unload drums, totes, containers, and equipment at job sites.
• Handle hazardous materials in accordance with regulations and document appropriately.
• Conduct site assessments and monitor hazardous material levels using field instruments.
• Complete time sheets and project documentation using company systems.
• Participate in emergency response services and on-call rotations.
• Perform routine maintenance checks on equipment and report defects.
• Must be physically able to lift up to 50 lbs and work 8–12 hour shifts.
