Job summary

Ambipar Response Texas, LLC seeks a dependable Technician for onsite work involving equipment operation, waste management, sample collection, and emergency response. The role requires strict safety protocols, physical endurance, and flexibility to respond to emergencies and overtime.

Reports to Supervisors; location is onsite with a full-time, non-exempt status. Prior experience is preferred, but training will be provided to the right candidate. Travel is up to 50% as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record.
• Ability to obtain and maintain confined space entry certification.
• Ability to obtain and maintain hazardous materials handling certification.
• Physical stamina to perform labor-intensive tasks in all weather.
• Flexibility to work irregular hours, including overtime, nights, weekends.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience in hazardous waste management, spill response, industrial cleaning, or related fields is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain equipment and vehicles, including vacuum trucks and hydro excavation rigs.
• Load/unload drums, totes, containers, and equipment at job sites.
• Handle, package, label, transport and document hazardous materials per regulations.
• Conduct site assessments and monitor hazardous material levels per local, state, and federal regulations.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization across job sites, offices, yards, warehouses, vehicles, and facilities.
• Complete time sheets, vehicle logs, and project documentation using company systems.
• Participate in emergency response services and on-call rotations.
• Perform routine maintenance checks on equipment and report defects.
• Support Driver Operators and team members on onsite duties as needed.
