Job summary

Ambipar Response is seeking a dependable Technician to operate equipment, manage hazardous and non-hazardous waste, collect samples, and support site remediation. The role requires safety discipline, physical stamina, and readiness for overtime or emergencies.

Reports to a Supervisor and is based onsite. Full-time, non-exempt, hourly pay with compensation commensurate with experience; travel up to 50% as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver’s license with good record.
• Ability to obtain certifications for confined space entry and hazardous materials handling.
• Ability to perform labor-intensive tasks in all weather conditions.
• Flexibility to work irregular hours including overtime, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Perform industrial cleaning, site remediation, spill clean-ups, maintenance, and confined space entry in safety-compliant manner.
• Operate and maintain vacuum trucks, hydro excavation rigs, and specialized tools.
• Load/unload drums, totes, and equipment at job sites.
• Handle and document hazardous materials in compliance with regulations.
• Conduct site assessments and monitor environmental conditions with field instruments.
• Complete time sheets and logs accurately using company systems.
• Participate in emergency response, on-call rotations, and site remediation efforts.
