Job summary

Nestlé is seeking an Environmental and Energy Associate in St. Joseph County, IN to ensure compliance of the environmental and energy program through monitoring, measuring, analyzing, reporting, and managing permits.

You will partner with sustainability experts to identify improvements, reduce waste, and increase efficiency while supporting Nestlé's goals. The role involves maintaining ISO 14001, handling permit renewals, and managing energy, environmental and sustainability reporting and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Environmental Science or related discipline.
• 3+ years of experience leading environmental and energy programs in manufacturing, industrial, military or related environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain ISO 14001 certification and continuously improve the environmental management system for the factory.
• Complete timely permit renewals or changes for air, water, wastewater, stormwater, and other environmental regulatory requirements.
• Complete timely external compliance reporting for air, water, wastewater, stormwater, and other environmental regulatory requirements.
• Complete timely internal compliance reporting for Energy, Environmental and Sustainability requirements.
• Review and process monthly invoices for energy, water and waste.
• Administer waste disposal contracts and maintain relationships with service providers.
• Coordinate and align factory team with divisional Environmental and Energy team on strategic goals, priorities and measures.

Education
