Job summary

The Department Manager at BLE in Charlotte leads the Environmental Due Diligence and Remediation Services Department, shaping strategy and guiding project delivery. This senior role oversees staff, budgets, and client service while coordinating with the Charlotte Branch Manager and business development team to grow the practice.

Successful candidates will have extensive environmental consulting experience, strong leadership, and the ability to develop trusted client relationships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Geology, Environmental Science, or related technical discipline required.
• Professional registration as a PE or PG in NC strongly preferred.
• 8+ years of progressive experience in environmental consulting, including project management and staff leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Environmental Due Diligence & Remediation department in Charlotte; shape strategy and grow the practice.
• Oversee project delivery, budgets, staffing, and client communication.
• Develop and maintain client relationships and lead major pursuits and proposals.
