Job summary

Bunnell-Lammons Engineering, Inc. seeks a Department Manager to lead environmental due diligence and remediation services in the Charlotte area. This senior role oversees staff, project delivery, budgets, and client service while partnering with BLE leadership to grow the practice.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years in environmental consulting, PE/PG licensure preferred, and a track record of delivering compliant, high-quality work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Geology, Environmental Science, or a related technical discipline is required.
• Professional registration as a PE or PG is strongly preferred.
• 8+ years of progressive environmental consulting experience with project management and staff leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead BLE’s Environmental Due Diligence and Remediation Services Department in Charlotte.
• Oversee project delivery, staffing, budgets, schedules, profitability, and client service.
• Develop and implement departmental priorities, workflows, and best practices.
• Lead QA/QC, review proposals, work plans, and technical deliverables.
• Build trusted client relationships and support business development.
