Job summary

Bunnell-Lammons Engineering (BLE) seeks a Department Manager for Environmental Due Diligence and Remediation Services in Charlotte. This senior leader will guide staff, manage projects and budgets, and partner with local leadership to grow the practice.

The role demands extensive environmental consulting experience, strong leadership, and a proactive client‑facing approach within BLE’s employee‑owned culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering or related field.
• Professional registration (PE or PG) in North Carolina preferred.
• 8+ years of progressive environmental consulting experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead BLE’s Environmental Due Diligence and Remediation Services Department in Charlotte.
• Oversee project delivery, staffing, budgets, and client service.
• Develop and implement workflows, QA/QC, and technical standards.
• Manage staff recruitment, development, and performance.
• Coordinate with branch leadership and business development.
• Lead major pursuits, proposals, and project team selection.
