ArborMetrics Solutions, LLC is seeking an Environmental Construction Specialist to supervise environmental compliance on electric utility field projects. This role emphasizes outdoor work, safety, and independent problem solving in varied terrain.

The ideal candidate has 1–5 years in site development, SWPPP/NPDES knowledge, and strong communication for coordination with clients, landowners, and crews.

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Science, Construction Management, Building Science, or related field.
• 1–5 years’ experience in Site Development work, permitting utility construction.
• Solid understanding of NPDES CGP SWPPP implementation and inspections.
• Desire to work outdoors in varying weather and terrain.
• Strong public relations/interfacing with the public.
• Willingness to work alone.
• Basic computer skills.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Provide Environmental Compliance and construction oversight on transmission Site Development and Linear Transmission Line projects.
• Ensure compliance with NPDES SWPPP permits and related regulations.
• Document field conditions to verify permits and environmental regulation compliance.
• Perform erosion, sediment and stormwater inspections.
• Interpret complex plans and support public relations efforts.
• Oversee site development crews and BMP contractors.
• Identify wetlands and sensitive areas before entry.
• Communicate status and estimates with project management and clients.
• Assist in recommending future ROW maintenance requirements.
