Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking an Environmental Services Compliance Manager to oversee compliance programs for warehousing and cross-docking operations, with emphasis on hazardous materials storage.

You will collaborate with stakeholders from RFP through Go-Live and steady-state operations. Responsibilities include evaluating regulatory requirements, performing audits, developing training tools, and guiding environmental controls to reduce risk and improve compliance across the supply chain.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science required.
• Master's degree preferred.
• Five years or more experience in environmental field with regulatory or transportation focus.
• Experience with hazardous materials storage and transportation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform environmental due diligence assessments from RFP issuance through Go Live to assure compliance with Ryder environmental policies and regulations.
• Stay current with local, state and federal environmental regulations affecting Ryder operations.
• Provide day-to-day compliance support to warehouse and cross-docking facilities and coordinate external audits.
• Develop and implement environmental training tools for waste management, spill response, regulatory reporting, and related areas.
